Meet Dr. Mark Meininger

Chiropractor McDonough, Dr. Mark MeiningerChoosing the Chiropractic Path

In high school, Dr. Mark couldn’t decide whether he wanted to fly airplanes or become a chiropractor. He loved his biology, chemistry and anatomy classes. A heartfelt discussion with his dad led Dr. Mark to realize that he wanted to work for himself. After graduating from high school, he decided to become a chiropractor.

Dr. Mark attended Life University to attain his Doctor of Chiropractic. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition for the Chiropractic Sciences. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® and is on the National Register of Certified Medical Examiners, which is governed by the Federal Motor Carrier and Safety Administration (FMCSA).

Just by clearing out nerve interference in the spine, I can help make someone’s life easier.

Moving Toward a Healthier Lifestyle

Over the years, Dr. Mark’s perspective on health has transformed. He lost his mother to colon cancer and sister to breast cancer. His father has had a heart attack, stroke and prostate cancer. Because of this family history, Dr. Mark made tremendous proactive changes in his dietary habits and is now a vegetarian. He loves a quote from Dr. Michael Greger, which states, “the vast majority of premature death is preventable with a plant-based diet.”

Putting Family and Faith First

In Dr. Mark’s spare time, he enjoys going hiking, fishing and camping. He’s been married to his wife, Esther, since 1984. Together, they have raised five children, who are all grown up and out of the house. They have a total of seven grandchildren that they dote on. Dr. Mark likes to read the Holy Scriptures, periodicals and chiropractic science literature.
